Frequently Asked Questions
Problem:
- How do I install VisionBuilder on my computer?

Please follow this:

  • Close all programs before beginning installation.
  • Put Vision Builder disk in CD drive. It will provide step by step instructions for set up and installation.
  • The first box will be the Set Up box. Highlight the instruction language, eg English, then click NEXT
  • Welcome to Installation Wizard box: If you have not exited all programs before installing the Vision Builder program do so now by clicking CANCEL to quit set up and close programs. Remove disk, reinsert and begin again to reinstall VisionBuilder. Click NEXT to continue.
  • License box: Read Licensing screen. Be sure to scroll down to finish reading. Check the “Yes, I agree to all terms of license agreement. Click NEXT to continue. The computer will not allow you to continue unless you check the Yes box.
  • Destination box: This will allow you to place the VisionBuilder program file where you want. Use the default and click NEXT.
  • Ready to Install the Program box: Click NEXT.
  • Installation Complete box: Click OK to exit set up program or begin using Vision Builder.
Problem:
- Once program is installed, how do I access it in the future or after installing it?

Please follow this:

  • Click START button on bottom left screen.
  • Scroll to program and click once.
  • Scroll to VisionBuilder and click once.
  • Click once on VisionBuilder. If you click on Uninstall VisionBuilder it will delete the program from your computer, you will have to reinstall the program by starting at the beginning of the installation process.
Problem:
- The moving window is not lining up with the lines of text.
- The first line is fine, but subsequent lines are not centered and impossible to read.

Please try this:

  • Right-click on the Desktop and choose Properties.
  • Click on the right most tab "Settings" and choose "Advanced" bottom right.
  • On the General tab in the middle of the screen is the DPI setting. Set this in the 96 (normal) setting, and restart the computer.
